چکیده
Commonly associated with pregnancy, stretchmarks appear whenever the body experience a rapid growth. Into dermis, collagen fibres are altered loss of orientation and elastic network is disrupted leading to fibrotic organisation. This results epidermal tearing which produce skin lesions. Centella asiatica one most well-known medicinal plants rich in triterpenic actives molecules traditionally used treat wounds help repair. The aim this study was evaluate extract as natural way solve concern. A complete biological evaluation has started vitro tests on fibroblasts. We have evaluated their proliferation based scratch assay model genes expression by RT-qPCR. At ex vivo level, stretch marked explants, elastin were quantified immunofluorescence. Collagen fibre’s occupation dermis analysed after Sirius red staining specific software analysis. Finally, clinical 54 women carried out during 28 days. Thus, we proven that at 10μg/mL stimulated fibroblasts proliferation. Regarding genetic expression, significantly reduced extracellular matrix degradation (-149% MMP1 -50% MMP7) fibrosis (-128% CTGF -58% PTK2). On explant, 0.5% increased 49% production 37%. thickness 39% centre stretchmark, elasticity vascularisation improved 62% 162% respectively. self-assessed appearance ameliorated 42%. Based mechanisms behind formation stretchmarks, restores optimising organisation for visible remodelling effect.

متن کاملEffect of Centella asiatica L
In the present study the effect of Centella asiatica L. extract was studied against the genotoxic doses of ethinylestradiol on human lymphocytes culture. The different doses of C. asiatica L. extract i.e. 1.075×10 -4 , 2.125×10 -4 and 3.15×10 -4 g/ml were treated separately with 5 μM of ethinylestradiol. Similar treatments were given with 10 μM of ethinylestradiol. The treatments result in a si...
متن کاملPharmacognostic Studies on Centella Asiatica (l) Urban
The paper deals with pharmacognosy of Centella asiatica (L.) Urban, including its morphological, anatomical, chemical constituents and powder analysis. Stomata are mostly anisotricytic, isotricytic and few tetracytic. Sphaero-crystals of calcium oxalate are observed in palisade, spongy and ground parenchyma of leaf lamina, petiole and rhizome and absent in roots. Uniseriate flagellate conical h...
متن کاملA systematic review on the chemical constituents of Centella asiatica
Several reviews have examined various aspects of C. asiatica including the chemistry, pharmacology, and clinical uses but none of these reviews use the systematic review approach to locate and condense all the findings. The aim of this study was to systematically review the chemical constituents of C. asiatica. Electronic databases were searched for studies examining the chemical constituents o...
متن کاملTriterpene composition and bioactivities of Centella asiatica.
Leaves of Centella asiatica (Centella) were analysed for their triterpene composition and bioactivity such as collagen enhancement, antioxidant, anticellulite and UV protection capacity properties. Triterpenes of Centella were measured using HPLC-PAD on an Excil ODS 5 mm (C18) column for the simultaneous determination of asiatic acid, madecassic acid, asiaticoside and madecassoside. Centella wa...
